PPSH 41 upper receiver and pivot block markings

Posts: 1 (07/25/09 12:31:41) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Hello, ive got an deactivated PPSH 41 today... read many stuff at this wonderful forum and website Ok, here are pics of the pivot block and upper receiver. It seems that is some chinese markings on the pivot block! And some strange markings at the upper receiver, the shield with the star is on the wrong place, 2 triangles in the middle. Fantastic weapon... but sadly the paint is very weak. very easy to scratch it. Maybe to old paint.. or all russians guns have this problem. My AKM have the same bad painting. David

Posts: 3 (08/02/09 13:52:24) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	It´s good to have an friend who served in the red army I asked him today.. his answer: On the second pictures, there're three letters (from left to right)- first reminds me letter "N", second is definetely letter "ZH" (right up), and the last is "U" (right down). On the first picture there're two letters: first is "SH"(I think it was made by smb's hand, it could be the name or surname of the owner), the second letter is "P" (next to the star, right up). The star is also seems to be made by hand.
